Farmers get a green signal to protest at Jantar Mantar with some conditions

Farmer Protest at Jantar Mantar: Delhi Police have intensified security at Delhi's Jantar Mantar by placing barricades and heavy deployment of security forces ahead of farmers' protests against the Centre's three new three farms laws. Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal has granted special permission says Farmers have been permitted to protest here with a condition that their numbers won't exceed 200 for SKM & 6 persons for Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee b/w 11 am-5 pm daily, on being assured in writing that they would remain peaceful. However, the Samkyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of the farmers' union, said that their protest will conclude along with the monsoon session of Parliament on August 13.
