Living off grid in Alaska part of the way we harvest food is through fishing. I take Brad and Victoria, our remote island neighbors, to our favorite fishing spot. I want to do a shakedown trip to make sure the kicker and all the fishing equipment was in good working order. I wasn't expecting the Coho salmon to be in this soon so I brought a small cooler with me. I was wrong and wish brought the bigger cooler. We ended up throwing two fish back, one small king salmon and one small Coho. We also kept a larger King and Coho salmon as well. We will head back to that area again and get enough salmon to last the rest of the year. #pennfishing #lamiglas
Thanks to Ron and Pam for the video of the Orcas splashing their boat on the back side of the island.
