Slurry Injection in Overburden & Challenging Geology Best Practices, Applications + Pre-Drill Method

Our success in remediating overburden impacts in source and plume areas using slurry injections can be traced to proper injection equipment, surgical injection plans (developed during the Remedial Design Characterization process, covered in Webinar #5), and flexible and innovative implementation methodologies. Slurries can be difficult to inject into the subsurface (would you believe that a sand unit is more challenging than a clay unit?). Over the past 15 years, the RPI Group has been evolving the industry’s best practices when it comes to slurry injections and this webinar will transfer that knowledge.

Topics to be covered include top-down vs. bottom-up, the relationship between injection point spacing and slurry volume, Pre-Drill Method (when direct push injection is not an option), field quality control (QC), and others.
