The goal of the football/socer combination exercise is to practice short ground passes and play ball with the first touch, with players who change their position neutrally and rotate from position to position when combined. Both the ball and the players involved in the combination are constantly on the move. During the exercise, players focus on the correct accuracy and force of passes, movement and finding a place after playing ball in an effort to re-engage in the combination. Most passes should be made by the first touch, and for the smoothness of the combination it is important that the first touch with the ball is of the highest quality.

The exercise is designed for 5-7 football/soccer players (U10-U17).
