This was a flight from Fort Myers where we passed over Jacksonville International Airport. JIA is a well placed airport in my opinion. Jacksonville can have a lot of traffic in some areas, but not here. You are able to get in and out of there fairly easy with side roads available to take you to other parts of town without having to worry about getting on the highway. Though if you choose to get on the highway, I-95 is very easy to get to from there. Restaurants, hotels, rental cars, and general shopping are all right in close location to the airport. This probably sounds like an advertisement for the airport! Lol I lived there MANY MANY years.
