Great news! $1,073 SSI benefit raise, new update this week
In this video, we discuss the SSI program otherwise known as supplemental security income and the work that is being done in Congress right now to reform SSI, supplemental security income, raise benefits to 100% of the federal poverty line and make some other very necessary changes to the program. This is in reference to the SSI restoration act. This is being worked on in Congress right now and we have a new update that just came out as far as the progress on the SSI restoration act. This is the latest update on SSI, raising monthly benefits to 100% of the federal poverty line and increasing SSI benefits as well as other very important provisions to the program to help out millions of low income older adults and people with disabilities who receive SSI each and every month. The SSI program otherwise known as supplemental security income is administered by the Social Security administration and this group of senators is working to reform the program and raise benefits as well as make some other very necessary changes, this is the latest update out of Congress this week on the SSI program and these necessary changes.
