A crucial GST Council meeting will be taking place tomorrow. The meeting will be held in person after a gap owing to the COVID pandemic. All the ministers are likely to be a part of this meeting in Lucknow and a big agenda has already been set for this GST Council meeting. The most important of these agendas are bringing petrol and diesel under the ambit of the GST regime. The fuel price hike has now become a bone of contention between the Centre and the opposition. Every time the prices of fuel hike, a blame game erupts. Ahead of the meeting, the opposition is already doubting the intent of the Centre as far as the fuel hike issue is concerned.
