The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X hit the market in 1983 with a hefty price tag of $3,995. By today's standards, the DynaTAC was woefully basic; its peak capacity was 30 minutes of talk time, and the battery lasted only six hours.
The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X full charge took roughly 10 hours, and it offered 30 minutes of talk time.
