Chicago wants to do a $500 a month stimulus check Universal Basic Income program out of the left over stimulus package money from Biden's $1.9 trillion stimulus package. If this proves successful over 50 mayors wants to see UBI done for lower income families and more than 50 cities say they have left over stimulus package money from March. Yet Biden appears to ignore the needs of the American people. Many democrats are now saying they will struggle to tax the wealthy. They've been beating the tax the rich drum but haven't put a solid plan in place for how to do it. Senator Bernie Sanders says he won't bend on reducing his desire to expand medicaid and lower prescription drug prices. Manchin says medicaid is headed towards being insolvent and unable to pay its bills, but agrees the wealthy should pay more taxes. Biden lowers family paid leave for having a baby from 12 weeks down to 4 weeks. Then says he'll take anything at this point. Mitch McConnell says Chuck Schumers leadership and plans look like throwing spaghetti at the wall.
