This morning I assisted and filmed the crew from UNC Wilmington and a group of thirty-six Brunswick County High School students who planted oyster shells and water plants along the shoreline of the Intra-Coastal Waterway in St. James Plantation, NC down the street from where we are building our new house. If you live in St. James and have ever wondered about the lines of Oyster shells around the dock at Waterway Park the explanation given to the students by UNCW Professor Troy Alphin will answer your questions.
