To commemorate the Battle of Moscow’s 80th anniversary, members of the Russian Military History Club re-enacted the classic battle in a suburb of the city on October 10, 2021.The re-enactment of one of the most significant battles between the USSR and Germany during World War II attracted crowds of spectators. In October 1941, the Soviet Red Army fought against German forces who were advancing towards Moscow at the Mozhaisk Defense Line. The battle gave the country time to step up its defence of the capital city and prevent Moscow from being captured.
