The Past The Present The Future

The Past The Present The Future

The word for the day is past. And the definition for past is gone by and time and no longer existing. You can't change the past, but you can change the present. In Philippians, the 3-chapter 13th verse, Paul is writing a letter, and in the letter, he is talking about becoming more like Christ. This is something that he strived to achieve daily. And this is what he says about the past, "Dear brothers and sisters. I have not achieved it. But I focus on this one thing. Forgetting the past. And looking forward to what lies ahead." (Philippians 3:13, NLT). The past is done; I can't change it. But I'm looking ahead to the present. I'm looking ahead to the future. The scriptures I will read from comes from the following:
Philippians 3:13
Lamentations 3:22-23
Psalm 103: 8,12.
