Conventional DL

The deadlift... arguably the most pure test of strength in the gym and a pure strength movement.

If you want to get the most out of your deadlift there are a few things you need to make sure you do:

1- You should know by now that you have to keep your abs flexed tight as you lift but the same goes with your lats on the deadlift!

2- Don't think about pulling the weight up. Try and mimic a leg press and drive into the floor, pushing down with your quads.

3- At the top you're not trying to stand up straight like a solider at attention, you want to drive your hips forward and flex your glutes as soon as the bar has passed knee height.

Focus on these three things and you'll be ready to pull Thor's hammer off the ground!
