• As Paul visited Berea, he met a group of Jewish brethren who took the study of the Tanach very seriously. They studied, compared and exposed God’s word each and every time they heard someone preach or teach. Why should it be different today? We come to trust our favorite teachers to the point where we never question what they say, even when we think that it might not be accurate. Regardless of how many degrees they might have acquired, nobody is above scrutiny. Only the word of God is without error, but man is flawed and can possibly give an erroneous interpretation.
