Neighbors call the music coming from Portland Fred Meyer 'inhumane' and 'irritating'

Update: Fred Meyer has said it will stop playing the music moving forward.

Fred Meyer had recently started to play loud classical music at night to deter "illegal activity," the grocery store chain said, but neighbors called it disruptive to them and "inhumane."
