New extreme climate outlooks to benefit Australian farmers

Using the latest science and technology the Bureau has released two new features on its climate outlooks website.

The new features:

• drill down to locations to view the chance of unseasonal and extreme temperature and rainfall for the weeks, months, and seasons ahead via maps and location-based bar charts
• use data from the recently updated climate model, meaning they draw on the latest global seasonal forecasts.
