PM Modi urges Ukraine President to ensure safety of Indians at Sumy; Zelensky 'grateful' after call

In a second call to Ukraine President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Volodymyr Zelensky to ensure safe evacuation of nearly 700 Indians students stranded in the Ukrainian city of Kyiv. Both the leaders spoke for about 35 minutes and also discussed the evolving situation in Ukraine. Prime Minister Narendra Modi yet again stressed the need for a dialogue between Russia and Ukraine. PM Modi appreciated the continuing direct dialogue between Russia and Ukraine and thanked President Zelensky for his government's help in evacuating Indians from Ukraine.
