Few days before the end of the holy month for Muslim, Saliha and I decided to pay a visit to the beautiful Jama Masjid in Delhi! We arrived a little before iftar, and I enjoyed a great time with a local family who shared a meal with me. However, the experience was a little tarnished by local thieves who stole my shoes, and I was not the only one as some local worshippers also fell victim. I should have been more cautious, I heard later on that it is very common for thieves to run their business in the beautiful mosque enclave!
Luckily I did not go home barefoot, as I met Sheezan, a local DJ, who bought me flip flops! Thanks again for your kindness man 💙
