With cloud dominating recent days across the western stretches of the United Kingdom, more changeable weather is now occurring with partly cloudy intervals and generally lots of clear weather on the way, although there will remain times of showers, particularly in northern England and Scotland in the next two days.
Temperatures are expected to gradually climb once again, with highs by the end of the week into the upper 20s in England under mostly clear skies. Thursday is the pick of the week's days for Ireland, where calm conditions and clear skies will dominate, along with temperatures of around 23 degrees.
In Scotland, late this week conditions will improve here, and sunnier skies will dominate on Friday with highs near 23.
