Why Resistance Network "Rukh Oporu" Is Vital To Ukraine Counteroffensive Against Russia In The South

Russian forces have reportedly been facing a covert war for months before a Ukrainian counteroffensive in the south. Alongside Ukrainian troops, resistance group ‘Rukh Oporu’ is reportedly playing a vital role in tracking Russian forces. ‘Rukh Oporu’ comprises thousands of ordinary Ukrainian nationals who are closely tracking Russian positions in the occupied areas. Their job is to gather intelligence on the Russians before passing it on to the Ukrainian armed forces. Since Ukraine launched its counteroffensive in Kherson, the support of this resistance network has become even more crucial. Many of these Ukrainian nationals are tracking Russian movements using simple commercial drones.
