‘Toxic narrative’: Australia Day a focal point for the ‘self-loathing agenda’

Sky News host Rita Panahi says the assault against Australia Day by a “clown council” is an “assault against Australian values”.

Merri-bek Council voted to abolish Australia Day celebrations and citizenship ceremonies.

“It is a determined effort to degrade and demoralise our country,” she said.

“It's a toxic narrative our children are exposed to from preschool all the way to university.

“Australia Day is just a focal point for this self-loathing agenda.”
