Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced the formation of a House Committee under the chairmanship of Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar, to ascertain the views of different people, legal luminaries and environmentalists to protect Mhadei river. Meanwhile, Opposition Members pressurised the govt to resign if the NOC to the DPR of Karnataka is not revoked in the 15 days by the Centre.
