ASSAM RIFLES FOIL TIMBER SMUGGLING BID IN DIMAPUR; TIMBER WORTH LAKHS SEIZED

Assam Rifles troop deployed in Nagaland on Sunday foiled a timber smuggling bid in Dimapur district. During the operation, illegal timber of 4,000 cubic feet worth Rs. 60 Lakhs were seized from Jharnapani village in Dimapur district. The Paramilitary Force also apprehended a total of 5 individuals in connection with the case. As per information provided, the illegal timber logs were being carried in two trucks
