Come garden with me as we begin preparing for spring. Today we begin the process of creating garden beds made from forest logs in our own backyard. Who needs timber when you have forest logs? Especially with the inflated price of building wood, there is no time like the present to better our building skills and use the resources in our own backyard. This is sustainability to a whole new level. We are building on the homestead with logs from the forest, and not nice, straight, fresh logs. No we are taking old, fallen logs from the forest and we are using them in our new garden beds. This is only the first vegetable garden made from forest logs on the homestead stay tuned to see our whole new Spring garden done the same way!
